Gypsy earrings

Gypsy earrings
Aren't these a colourful lot? I have made this collection of Gypsy boho earrings with lampwork beads from India. The lampwork beads are a personal favorite of mine due to their vibrant colours. The beads in the so-called 'Weddingcake' style are made by hand in India. Combine them with a beautiful maxi dress for a summery Gypsy boho look!

Bohemian lampwork earrings

Bohemian lampwork earrings
I am very enthusiastic about our new range of lampwork beads from India. Many of these beads are based on a style which has been in use for over a 100 years, especially these weddingcake style beads.
Because they are hand made, they have a lovely nonchalant bohemian look. I used the beads to make this pair of earrings: the large sky blue lampwork bead at the bottom complements the smaller ocre yellow bead at the top beautifully.
In addition, I have opted for antique copper materials because I think they really bring out the gold-coloured details of the lampwork beads. The small blue electroplate bicone beads complete the look.

What you need is a long headpin onto which you can string the beads. To make the pendant, I have shaped the eyelet very tight to the beads. The pendant can be attached to a simple earhook to make sure the lampwork beads are the eye catchers of the earring!

Emerald earrings

Emerald, together with sapphire and ruby, is one of the most exclusive gemstones. Pantone has declared Emerald colour of the year 2013, and indeed it is a lovely colour to design your jewelry with. Emerald green is a warm shade, and it fits well into many colourpalettes. Emerald is reminiscant of exotic India, clean Art Deco and it also goes together well with natural materials like jade or perhaps coral. Gothic Victorian and Medieval designers too favour emerald green in their creations. To get you started, here are a few earring designs with emerald green as their main inspiration.
