DIY cabochons vintage birds


Vintage bird earrings 25x18 mm with seed beads
These colourful earrings were made using transparent glas cabochons and a vintage bird collage sheet.

The first series was designed with 25x18 mm sized cabochons placed in lace edge settings. The setting's three lower eyelets were unfolded. I attached pin heads with seed beads. By changing the lengths of the pendants you get a playful effect.

The earrings in the previous image were made using the smaller 18x13 mm cabochons. The bronze setting doubles as connector between the ear hook and pastel drops. The result is a fine vintage-style jewel!
The images were glued to the cab using Mod Podge. This glue can be employed as well to fasten the finished cabochons in to the settings.
