I am very enthusiastic about our new range of lampwork beads from
India. Many of these beads are based on a style which has been in use
for over a 100 years, especially these weddingcake style beads.
Because they are hand made, they have a lovely nonchalant
bohemian look. I used the beads to make this pair of earrings: the large
sky blue lampwork bead at the bottom complements the smaller ocre
yellow bead at the top beautifully.
In addition, I have opted for antique copper materials because I
think they really bring out the gold-coloured details of the lampwork
beads. The small blue electroplate bicone beads complete the look.
What you need is a long headpin onto which you can string the beads.
To make the pendant, I have shaped the eyelet very tight to the beads.
The pendant can be attached to a simple earhook to make sure the
lampwork beads are the eye catchers of the earring!
